Grace and Collins wedding night was one of those nights that made me remember why I’m a photographer. Pure magic with the most amazing couple. Wedding days are hard work, but for me it’s the most incredibly rewarding job I don’t even notice how exhausted I am until I get in my car and feel my feet throbbing lol (I’m sure my photog friends know what I mean) Capturing moments that literally no one else sees - sometimes not even the bride and groom... it’s just so weird and amazing and hard to explain. We have a front row seat to one of the most special days in our couples entire life... that is just insane and so humbling to experience. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
At the end of the night the DJ had every single guest exit the room and go outside for the sparkler exit - when the room was empty (everyone besides the couple, me and Katie) he played one last song for just them. They got to take it in, the song he played was actually the wrong version of what they wanted but as always everything happens for a reason and the symphony version he played ended up bringing them to full blown tears as they got to take in the full day and what just happened. It was one of my favorite moments of all time - and no one else but me (and Katie) was there to witness it happen. It just makes me want to cry again thinking about it because you watch romance movies on tv and sure they’re great.. but they’re fiction. I get to witness REAL, raw, powerful, emotional love on wedding days and it is and always will be one of the biggest honors of my life. I’m so grateful for every single one of my couples, families, seniors, and just anyone god brings into my life who trusts in me to capture them and their story.. you guys just have no idea how much I TRULY am so grateful for every opportunity. Biking with my babe! 🚴🏼‍♀️ In the beautiful town of St. Augustine for an amazing wedding today with one of my incredible 2019 couples!!! We got here a little early yesterday so we could explore and honestly can’t recommend biking through St. Augustine enough!! We went through historic streets of colorful houses all afternoon and saw so many nooks and crannies you just can’t see from a tour bus! What’s your favorite travel activity? 💕

Today’s a snuggle on the couch with the pups and work from the laptop kind of day.
